A beautiful day in Bodrum and my favorite store I've found.

I went to Bodrum and fell in love ;)

Gibi has been on my list for a month or so, but I don’t have a car and it’s so super hot in downtown Bodrum that I only go there sparingly. But I had the most magical experience checking out my new favorite store. Let’s take a look, and along the way I’ll sell you why this store is so special to me.

Things I love about Gibi–

  • It’s owned by a group of 6 creative and passionate friends (what a dream, right??)

  • It’s EXPERTLY curated. I mean, like every detail is cared for and in many cases designed / built by the team.

  • You FEEL the love they have for you and for craft when you walk in.

  • One of the owners lives upstairs, which I find so charming.

  • Everything is high-quality and an exceptional view of new (and traditional) craft in Turkey.

Obviously if you know my former life, you understand that this is just a passion of my life– design, craft, tradition, innovation, entrepreneurship, small business.

We finished up our shopping day with some lunch at Havanda Bodrum, which was absolutely perfect. Another beautiful example of a well-crafted, thoughtfully-designed experience from food to decor.

Something fun to note is that I picked up A LOT of items for my upcoming #MountainAndSeaRetreat which is taking place in about 6 weeks in the mountains of Bodrum.

Curious? Read up on it here, and snag THE LAST SPOT!
