What I Love Talking About

Brands, Books,
Goods + Makers

MY FAVORITE LIFESTYLE

Minimalista, by Shira Gill

I met Shira when we were both in the same life coach training. It’s been so lovely watching her grow and support more people in their goal to live a more minimal life. I love Minimalista, and gift it often. Since I travel so much and don’t travel with many books, I’m a frequent visitor over at her website which is always fresh and updated with helpful content and classes.

Mashallah

The mix of thoughtfully-curated vintage and stylish but affordable jewelry and accessories always invites me to be creatively expressive in the best of ways. I first met Mashallah herself at my market, The Cleveland Flea, and I was struck by her professionalism, warmth, style and her commitment to community.

Monos

I love these bags for travel– they move so effortlessly and this one even has a space for my laptop on the outside to make going through security a breeze.

Made By Moro

I absolutely love these simple, handcrafted vessels. I give them as gifts and have two with me for styled food shoots. They are sturdy, beautiful, and utilitarian.

The Circle Craft

My favorite jewelry brand by far is The Circle Craft. Bobby and Danielle are both art school graduates (and friends!) and everything they make has been sculpted first, so there is a distinct artisan touch to it. Currently, this cuff and this bracelet are my go-to for dressing anything up.

Together Textiles

This robe is something I almost NEVER take off. It’s like a gorgeous sweater. And I know the quality is good because I work alongside Allie and Güven in Turkey half the year!

Minimalist Baker

This site is my go-to for simple, plant-based everything. I have never tried a recipe that doesn’t taste amazing, and it’s also usually a very simple set of ingredients (and steps).

1820 House

The only candle company that I will take with me when I travel the world. I consider Melissa and her team artists with a very sophisticated and unique way of creating multi-layered scents that are never overpowering and always sophisticated. My current favorite is the Borealis.

Fount

I was there at the beginning when Jackie and Philip created their first handmade wallets for my market, The Cleveland Flea. Though I can’t travel with my full collection, my favorite bag that I use nearly every day is the Harmon Belt Bag. I love knowing that my bag is right always with me. And it’s so easy to grab my passport or phone out of it when I need them.

Bodha

Along with my candles, these natural scents calm my nervous system and bring a sense of peace when I’m getting ready for bed or ready for my morning work.

Clare V.

I love how fun these are, and the bag I use every day is their little coin clutch. It has only gotten better with age, and I love how well it fits into my belt bag.

True Botanicals

I am someone who needs an evening routine to detach from my day and ease into a restful sleep. And I also have skin that easily can be out of balance. For me, this essential set from True Botanicals hits the mark. And I love the aromatherapy aspect, too.
