Why I love living in another country.

I travel to de-center my own thinking.

I travel to connect to the wider world to which I belong.

I travel to learn to speak new and different languages.

I travel to meet humans who I am supposed to come into contact with.

I travel to find myself in places that challenge me.

I travel to remind myself that where I came from is only one version of how humans live, love, build, connect, think, talk, eat, interact, heal, dance, make money.

I travel to stretch my imagination and my openness.

I travel to take on bigger challenges.

I travel to be a citizen of the world, finding belonging wherever I go.

I travel to remind myself of who I miss dearly.

I travel because it is what my heart requires of me to keep beating for the rest of my body.
